As the Multi Skilled Worker, you are responsible for assisting with providing a welcoming environment for our residents, employees, and visitors through a variety of support duties.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive table service to residents during meal times.
Perform laundry services, ensuring cleanliness and proper handling.
Remove garbage promptly and maintain sanitary waste disposal practices.
Deliver supplies and meals efficiently to designated areas or residents.
Conduct enhanced and thorough cleaning of high-touch surfaces to maintain hygiene standards.
Engage in meaningful social interaction with residents to promote emotional well-being.
Ensure residents live in a secure environment by patrolling the building, investigating unauthorized access, and reporting violations appropriately.
Adhere strictly to all safety rules and procedures.
Submit detailed written reports of hazards, incidents, near misses, and workplace injuries to the manager.
Follow established infection control practices to prevent the spread of illness.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the operational needs of the facility.

Qualifications and Experience

Food Safe certificate is required
Experience in an aging adults setting is an asset
Completion of Highschool Diploma is an asset
Completion of CPR and First Aid is an asset
Excellent organizational skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills with peers, residents, visitors and operational partners
Superior oral and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize and problem solve

Conditions of Employment

Ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend, squat, kneel and lift over 20 pounds
