As the Financial Analyst, you are responsible for assisting with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare annual budgets, including coordination with other departments and cross-functional leaders in the organization.
  • Assist with consolidation and analysis of budgets and the preparation of management reports and presentations.
  • Collaborate with departments to monitor budgets, assess variances, and provide financial guidance
  • Develop financial models to forecast performance, identify trends, and evaluate business scenarios
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking for forecasting
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of financial performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and variances
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial and variance analysis to support corporate development projects and strategic initiatives
  • Assist in evaluating financial impact of potential business opportunities
  • Integrate newly acquired or developed assets into the reporting framework
  • Other duties as assigned to support FP&A and operational requirements
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in financial planning and analysis
  • Completion of accounting or finance diploma or degree is required
  • Certified public accountant (CPA) or Certified financial analyst (CFA) an asset
  • Strong analytical skills, familiarity with financial modeling, and good understanding of accounting/finance principles
  • Experience in financial, real estate or property management sector an asset
  • Advance Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong organization skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize under a fast paced environment and, willingness to assist other team members across the entire company
  • Strong communicator (both written and verbal) – able to distill large amounts of data into discrete and concise information
  • Strong sense of ethics and the ability to handle sensitive information with tact and discretion
